Excellent! Fantastic! What more can I say...... 12 Jun 2009 4:57am @Miss Ruthie: You're very kind - thank you!! JOEMULLIGAN from micaville, nc, United StatesUsually, the insect-with-flower is a cliche. But this photograph is truly beautiful in its own right. I was trying to think why. I love the lavender color that dominates the picture, and all it wonderful shades and textures, and the way you go from clear image to blurry bokeh in the back is wonderful too. The whole flower realm is misty and mystical, but the honey bee is clear and precise. A masculine image perhaps against the feminine flowers. (I know honey bees are ladies, but still.....). I also love the way the honey bee is hovering in mid-air. It creates drama: arrested flight. Anyway, it's beautiful. It's a great picture. It's art. I'm jealous. 12 Jun 2009 5:48pm @JOEMULLIGAN: Possibly one of the nicest things said about one of my photos! Much gratitude and heartfelt thanks to you!! Check back on Silly Tuesday for another one, plus today's but it's not mid-air unfortunately! Wendy from United KingdomStunning photo. I love the bee suspended in air and the lavender purpling the surround. I can smell the flowers and feel a light breeze and hear the buzzing. Such a sensual photo. 13 Jun 2009 3:38pm @Wendy: Thanks so much, dear Wendy! Anita VDB from Chandlers Ford, United KingdomThis is a stunning picture Sarah!!
