You have mastered the use of DOF in this photo. The texture of the leaf is the dominant subject, and the pebbles (stones) in soft focus in the background keep the eye focused on the subject. The panorama cropping, and the angular placement of the leaf is artful. Well done! Do you know what f/stop you used to capture this?

Awesome! I really like shots like this, where things that would be overseen by most people become the star of a great image. Very well done as well, I love the colors, the light and the shallow DOF focusing on the pebbles which, again, would not be the obvious choice here.
